Welcome to Passion Week: Glory to God and Hosanna in the Highest!
English 11
We read most of Chapter 3 in class so this weekend you need to finish up the last page or two of that chapter AND read chapter 4 plus all questions.
English 10
Complete your Act 4 Snippet for Monday's class and remember you have a quiz on Tuesday for Act 4.
If you haven't watched it, why not start today? It's a very 'bingeable' series. Of course, episode 1, I cried.
Looking forward to this Easter weekend!

Remember you are listening to the first 10 minutes of each of the four podcast styles and making notes and how they sound by compare and contrast . Consider all the elements we've discussed so far and the criteria for your own podcasts. We will discuss these tomorrow.

Spring has Sprung, Ya'll!!
English 10
A free write happened on to eat meat or no,
we focused on transitions to help with paragraph flow.
Catch up on that for those of you that missed it.
Now Brutus and Cassius, and others who risked it
are preparing for a battle. But tensions are high
and bros be beefin' and trying to figure out why.
All this we'll unpack tomorrow in homework review
so get those questions done, there's only a few.
(all of scene 2 and 1-7 of scene 3).
English 11
You've got good copies of your poem, that's due tomorrow.
And read all of chapter 1, with questions, oh, the sorrow!
(Lord of the Flies, with questions on the handout)

Feels like Spring
English 10
Great poems today students!
Tonight read Act 4, scene 1 and answer 1-11.
English 11
Today we peer edited our stereotype poems.
These will be due Wednesday.
Ensure you adhere to the criteria and that your lines are all relatively equal in length.
Visually, equal lines in a poem this long is appealing, it also helps with hearing the rhymes, and formally it is called scansion.
I will take TWO (2) copies on Wednesday- one with the poetic devices clearly labeled and the other without. Don't forget to title your poem.
Bring in your Poker Poem tomorrow. We will read these aloud.
