Feelin' Rhymesy

T'was the night before Ignite and all through the school,

were last minute preparations, so no one would look a fool.

The posters were left in the classroom all done,

In hopes they would help their class be crowned #1.

The students went home with dance steps on lock,

While a song replayed in their heads to no one's shock.

When out from the internet the teacher gave the word,

that homework still needed doing, however absurd.

Twelve A had to read two essays of persuasion,

But Twelve C was free to work on any other equation.

The wind had ceased blowing to reveal a lovely sunset,

with evening strollers donning poppies, 'lest we forget'.
