Windsday

English 12

No HW!

Socials 11

Chapter 3 test next Tuesday.

Today we discussed, among other things, the silly notion that women are not persons, a plebesite, branch plants, and you read how Canadians enjoyed economic prosperity during the 20s.
Answer questions 1-3, p. 64

Propaganda work due tomorrow.

Wednesday, April 7, 2010

Two down, two to go.

English 12

Man, that Iago is dastardly.

Read Act 3.4 tonight and answer the questions for that scene and the one we read in class.
I will review tomorrow all questions, hand out a review sheet, and you should expect a quiz tomorrow...

Given out today: a bonus assignment on Othello, essay style. I have more if you want a copy.

Remember that this Friday will be the last Editing/Proofreading handout and it will be a quiz. Why not review?

Socials 11

Union unrest, regionalism, fight for Canada's autonomy, these were some of the things discussed today.
Fascinating.
You are to answer the questions on p.56 (1-3) and also those on page 61 (1-3).

Judging by the tone of the class, no one, except, perhaps Nathaniel, was ready for tomorrow's propaganda assignment (tsk, tsk). I have extended the deadline until Friday with nothing accepted after that.
Anyone wanting to hand in their completed assignment tomorrow will receive bonus marks for doing so.

Let's do it all again tomorrow.
