  • Answer the following question (1/2 page, single-spaced paragraph):

Show several instances (at least two) where Orwell foreshadows Winston's fatal outcome by what he says and does (or that, Winston is self-destructive) in the first half of 1984. Incorporate quotes as supporting evidence.
