Sunday's a-coming!

Hello lovelies!

Please watch your "poetry in voice" performances and self evaluate based on the marking sheet and hand this in Tuesday:

Videos

If you left your marking rubric at school (cuz that happens), I got 'chu:

Scoring Rubric

Remember that your proposal for your 'poem based on a lie' is due this Tuesday. Hand-written, typed, doesn't matter, just give me a paper copy.

And lastly, here is your 'quiz' for Act 2, also due Tuesday.

Looking at Act 2, Answer this question in one well written paragraph.
Who is Macbeth? Have a good hook, well integrated quotes, and a strong conclusion.

(sorry this post isn't in verse,
it was kind of hard to be terse,
and I didn't have time to rehearse
my lines. Not doing a poem feels like curse,
but I'll be back with rhymes, should worse come to worse!)

It's everywhere you want to be

Books to bring home for English? $0
Assignments that need to be completed? $0
Homework to finish for tomorrow's class? $0

That feeling you get when you know this is true? Priceless!

Poor Macbeth?

Now for the homework we've been practicing for a while,
Tomorrow you deliver your poem(s) and do it in style!

Palm Sunday: "Hosana, Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord"

Students be asking me, "What's my grade?"
Isn't that why the report card was made?
Projects, quizzes, and tests handed back:
You should have a sense of where you stack.
So nobody ask me, "What's my mark?"
Or I'll have to repulse you like Tony Stark.
Let's focus on the homework that needs to be done,
Complete Scene two and questions...and let's call it fun.
