 PoetryinVoice.com

Please navigate through the website and pick a poem for your grade category.

Look at the judging criteria again.

Look at some of the previous winners videos.

Remember your selection must be around 25 lines

If the lines are short +25; If the lines are less -25.

Make your selection for Tuesday's class and have a backup in case someone else picks your poem first.

Two or more students cannot say the same poem.

Tell me which poem you will be reciting in Tuesday's class.

Don't forget to answer the anticipation guide questions for Macbeth and read the notes on the last page of the handout for Tuesday's class.

Back in the Saddle Again...like a Jerkline Skinner

The sun is shining so it's not THAT bad...
But returning from a break? Always a bit sad.
No matter our feelings, there's work to be done.
Complete "Self Test", all but the 'General questions' one.
And don't forget the 'Topic Sentences' worksheet,
You've got questions one through twenty to defeat!
