Post Spring Break Homework, i.e. the weekend before school starts

Hello Grade 11s,

Hope you had a great (read meaningful) time serving during your outreach trip.
You probably walked away with a sense of how much you have to be thankful for.
Keep going back to what you saw during PEAK  week when you find yourself not being grateful enough.

So for the homework:
Remember we are reading the rest of Of Mice and Men and finishing the handout I gave you.
You are answering all the questions on that handout.
We will discuss the novella, watch the rest of the movie, debrief the predominant themes in this book, and prepare for the test (don't stress, it's not too hard if you read the book and paid attention).
Don't forget to spend some time working on memorizing your chosen poem for PoetryinVoice.
April is right around the corner. I figure around Easter (or just before), we will perform the poems.
April is Poetry Month too (look out for a contest I'll be running)
