Captain's Log; Star date Two Thousand and Fifteen

In Socials class today, I perceived students working hard and engaging in a book that told them about how their government works. They were informed that they had to complete a Case Study and answer #4 as well as study for a test tomorrow. They made a strange noise akin to whooping and howling when they were told that their next class may be out among the trees. I will keep you updated on their activities tomorrow.

In English class today students tried their best to create sentences that contained quotations perfectly crafted. They spotted out "devices" only found in books and were quick to recite their findings to me.
They worked in pairs and answered questions about a fireman who kills his captain. I found it strange they didn't react openly to the horrible unfolding of how the Beatty man died. They have to write in a journal tonight and perhaps there they will be more forthcoming in their response. They will continue reading in this fictional book until they get to page 125. I will let you know how they perform in class tomorrow. They are given permission to wear their own attire, perhaps this will affect their mood.
