Hi,
Okay, so English 11 students, you are getting ready for the vocab quiz on Monday. It'll be out of 20.
It will be an oral quiz (or I will have them on the overheard). Define the first 10 words and put the last 10 words in a sentence that shows you know its meaning.
Also, give some serious thought of where you can best use your skills to help our class put on an epic mock trial. We should be able to start the court proceedings by Thursday or Friday!

Alright, my 10s, so we have an Act 1 quiz on Monday--short answer. Please also have those snippets ready to hand in Monday.
Remember, too, that you can earn a +1% on your term 4 report card by reading and presenting a classic novel, or by writing a reverse poem (see me for details) or you can top up any quiz to 100% by memorizing and presenting a monologue from Julius Caesar to the class.
With that, I'm out.

Finish reading the rest of scene two and answer these questions:
1. Write a brief summary in which Casca tells Cassius and Brutus of the manner in which Caesar was offered a crown by Marc Antony in the Forum.
2. What is the Feast of the Lupercal?
3. Why do Cassius and Brutus leave the company of Caesar and his train during the celebrations of the Feast of Lupercal and what do they discuss?
4. What do you suppose is the purpose of this scene?
