Weekends Got Me Like ....
You've pushed this speech to its final delay,
If you haven't started, you've got quite the relay
race in front of you. So break it down into chunks
and apply the discipline of monastery monks.
Remember to include some devices in your delivery,
And wear your story proudly, like gold threaded livery

Shirts Don't Change People, Only Love Does That.
Tomorrow you've got a test to attack,
Bring paper to class & a pen (blue or black).
A word of advice for my students who show late,
Missing ten minutes of class could doom your fate.
So set that alarm and get a good night's rest,
Cuz nobody likes the feeling of bombing a test.
Review the stories and terms learned this year,
And make sure your answers are abundantly clear.
Then head into the weekend and slay that speech,
The possibility for greatness is within your reach.

You're not here tomorrow but...
Read the story Initiation for Wednesday's class,
Also the day block D hands in their poem en masse.
C block will have to hand theirs in on Tuesday,
Forget to find me and might as well call it lose day.
And you know your speech follows right after your poem
If you really knew ME, you'd know I honeymooned in Rome.
February 27: Speech due D block
February 28: " C "
