SOCIAL JUSTICE
Pre-read for Monday
If the above link does not work, please let me know.
Your other homework includes doing a journal entry on an aboriginal issue. I handed out the article to some of you in class on Friday. For the rest of you, you can find the link in Thursday's blog post.
Remember that your skit is due on Tuesday, those of you whose partner was absent, I suggest you do your best to connect with them over the weekend.
Also, know that your journals will be due on the 29th of September.
Aaand lastly, I have marked your quizzes but in doing so, realized that I forgot to hand out a back side of it and thus you missed four other multiple choice questions. Expect those on Monday.

2. Tonight go to the Everydaysexism.com website and take note of two examples (there are pages and pages) where you were surprised, annoyed, or even disagreed with the true stories left by women.
3. HERE is the video I shared at the end of class today. It deals with sexism in advertising. Please have a look at it as it looks at ads over the decades. Note, that from 2:00 to 2:09 these are not ads but show different ways of dying, according to one person who left a comment. The video is 7 minutes in length and will begin tomorrow's discussion.

1. Tonight you will prepare three topic sentences for your imaginary essay's supportive paragraphs. These sentences will each need one example from the poem that supports that topic sentence. Try to construct sentences that you feel you would be able to write a whole supporting paragraph on.
