B block: Read chapters 2 (started in class) and, further, chapter 3. Complete the questions for both. Update all journal entries as we have one more topic to complete before you turn it in---which will be soon.
Note, too, the upcoming due dates we discussed today in class: proposal for project--Thursday, Test/Project--next Wednesday, Poem recitation--next Thursday.

C block: finish chapter 6 tonight and questions. Update your journals, we hand them in on Thursday. Proposal for a end of novel project is tomorrow.

Once you listen to this podcast IN ITS ENTIRETY, it will become quite clear to you what what the bonus work will be. Mastery of this bonus assignment will allow you to bump up any previously completed assignment to an A. I hope you will take me up on this bonus assignment. If all of you will, I will too.

Also read do the informal questionnaire on how how much water it takes to make various things.
Lastly, let's start talking about Human Trafficking. Read pages 23-26 in preparation of that conversation.
